Room booking turnaround clash checker

Check a one-day booking list for conflicts that appear when setup and clear-out time are included.

Your working figures

Fictional example data is shown. Replace it with your own. Keep the CSV header names, and use a dot for decimals.

Up to 500 CSV rows, with smaller limits on tools that compare combinations. No personal data is needed for the examples.

How the worksheet works

Reserved window runs from event start minus setup to event finish plus clear-out. Compare every pair in the same room; touching boundaries are allowed, while positive overlap is a conflict.

A worked example

The art workshop occupies the hall from 08:40–10:15. Choir needs access at 10:00, so the buffered windows overlap for 15 minutes even though the public event times do not.

Check these limits

One day of events, each finishing after it starts. Setup may extend into the previous day and clear-out into the next. Every listed room is exclusive-use. This does not assess capacity, access arrangements or whether two events can safely share a room.

Working with CSV

Keep the header row shown in the example. Put one item or shift on each row. Fields containing commas can be enclosed in double quotes. Reports flag inconsistent entries rather than silently filling missing values.
